Are you a parent or a grandparent that doesn’t want their baby gate to be there all the time? Then the Lascal KiddyGuard Gate is for you. When not in use the gate rolls up so it is out of the way, it virtually disappears. It can be used in a multitude of locations; at the top or bottom of the stairs, in between rooms, in the doorway of a balcony or terrace, even outdoors. The gate can extend to 51” so it’s great for those larger doorways, like in between the kitchen and playroom. Don’t be fooled by the mesh material it can actually hold up to 225 lbs. The KiddyGuard is really easy to use. Unlike the other gates I only need one hand, so I can hold the baby and still open the gate without having to put him down. It also makes me feel safe when he is playing around the gate, because if he did miraculously figure out how to open the gate by himself it would let me know by it’s clicking sound, warning signal. Another great safety feature is that the gate locks when open and closed so he can’t play with it. Like I said before it is a great gate, especially when you’re having a dinner party and you don’t have to constantly open and close the gate for your guests. My mother in law also loves the gate because she can have it closed when the grandkids come over and as soon as they leave she can open the gate so she has her stairway back. There are no metal doors that she needs to prop open and no bar that she can trip over. All around it has been a success. Click here to read more about our KiddyGuard Retractable Gate.
